This policy explains what data Vettrix collects through the Vettrix CRM Lite Android app and the Vettrix web platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've written it to be plain-spoken — no surprises, no fine print.
By installing or using Vettrix — including the Vettrix CRM Lite Android application and the Vettrix web platform — you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or platform.
When you sign up, we collect basic account details: your full name, email address, phone number, organisation name, and (where applicable) profile picture. If you sign in using Google, we collect only the basic profile information you authorise during sign-in. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, or any other private Google data.
To deliver the core CRM feature of automatic call logging, the Vettrix CRM Lite Android app collects:
READ_CALL_LOG) — date, time, duration, direction (incoming, outgoing, missed), and the phone number associated with each call. Used to automatically log business calls against the matching lead, contact, or account.
READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_PHONE_NUMBERS) — used to detect when a call starts or ends so the call-tracking service can record it accurately and associate it with the right SIM or device line.
READ_CONTACTS) — read only when you choose to import or match contacts into the CRM, so calls and messages can be mapped to the correct CRM record.
This data is transmitted securely over HTTPS to your Vettrix tenant, where it powers activity tracking, follow-up reminders, and reporting. It is never used for advertising and never shared with any third party.
The app uses FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, and POST_NOTIFICATIONS to keep call tracking running in the background, restart it after a device reboot, and notify you about call-logging activity and follow-up reminders. On some devices (notably MIUI/Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, and Oppo) you may need to enable autostart and disable battery restrictions for this to work reliably.
If you grant location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION), Vettrix uses your location only when you explicitly perform a location-aware action — such as checking in to a meeting, attaching your location to a customer visit, or recording a field activity. Location is never collected silently in the background.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, and READ_MEDIA_AUDIO are used so that you can attach files (documents, images, call recordings where supported) to CRM records and so the app can save downloaded attachments to your device.
We collect basic device information such as Android version, device brand, model, and app version for analytics, crash reporting, and debugging. This information is used only to improve the app and is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
When registering, subscribing to a plan, or responding to a survey on the Vettrix website, you may be asked to enter information such as your name, email, company name, and billing details. You may otherwise visit the site anonymously.
